<p>Este foi o modelo da Ford que participou no mítico grupo B de rallies. Para homologar um veículo para participar nesta classe, a FIA obrigava o lançamento de pelo menos 200 unidades de estrada.</p>
<p>O RS200 de estrada, estava equipado com um motor 1800cc, montado em posição central, capaz de debitar 240cv. A tracção ficou ao cargo das 4 rodas e as acelerações deste peculiar modelo são espectaculares, apenas gasta 5 segundos para atingir os 100km/h.</p>
<p>As versões de rali chegaram a superar os 600cv e gastavam pouco mais de 2 segundos para atingir os 100Km/h.</p>

<p>Este foi sem dúvida o modelo mais marcante da marca italiana. O Stratos foi desenvolvido a pensar nos rallies como 037. Este modelo, quebra por completo o conceito do seu antecessor, o Fluvia HF.</p>
<p>O Stratos foi desenvolvido em colaboração com a Bertone e a mecânica provem da Ferrari. O motor V6 herdado do Dino é capaz de desenvolver 190cv na versão normal de estrada. Com esta mecânica, o Stratos chega aos 230Km/h e gasta apenas 6 segundos para atingir os 100Km/h. Nas versões de competição as potências começavam nos 280cv e superavam os 500cv nas versões turbo.</p>

<p>Este modelo foi o sucessor do 935. Inicialmente foi concebido para participar nas provas de 3000cc, contudo, de modo a não desencorajar a participação dos carros norte-americanos, foi criada uma classe denominada de Sport, que permitia a participação de automóveis de até 5000cc. A Porsche perante este regulamento fez uma jogada astuta, adicionar meio motor ao V8 existente, criando um V12 de 4500cc. Este brutal motor era capaz de debitar mais de 1000cv, impulsionar o 917 até aos 400Km/h e acelerar dos 0-100Km/h em 2,7 segundos.  </p>

<p>No passado dia 10 de Maio, Vila Cova foi palco do 1º Encontro de clássicos da localidade e mais alguns convidados. Esta iniciativa nasceu fruto da vontade de dois amigos de Vila Cova, que se auto intitularam como os 2 amigos da velha mecânica. A participação foi elevada e a organização esteve a bom nível.</p>
<p>A concentração teve lugar no largo da igreja de Vila Cova, seguidamente, em caravana partiram em destino ao castro de S. Lourenço, onde os participantes puderam apreciar as ruínas de uma vila da época romana e as belas vistas no monte de S. Lourenço. A passagem seguinte foi na foz do Cávado, em Esposende, onde se pude apreciar uma bela paisagem marítima. O passeio matinal teve o seu fim num restaurante de S. Romão de Neiva, onde o gosto pela mecânica foi o principal assunto discutido.</p>
<p>De tarde, o passeio levou-nos até ao monte de Sta Luzia em Viana do castelo. O fim deste encontro teve lugar em Belinho, com um lanche e a repartição de lembranças. Resta-me deixar algumas fotos do evento, assim como congratular à organização deste evento.</p>
